Hold Your Breath

The last winter storm may have cleared out of Philly, but it appears a far more ominous threat remains. The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has issued an advisory for unhealthy pollution levels in Southeastern Pennsylvania. The code orange advisory is for elevated particle pollution, a key component of smog. The DEP said young children, the elderly and those with respiratory problems, such as asthma, emphysema and bronchitis, should limit outdoor activities. [Philly.com]
