Building Bridges

The Benjamin Franklin Bridge is $800,000 closer to getting a pedestrian and bicycle ramp. The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission awarded the funds to the Delaware River Port Authority with the expectation that the grant would help replace stairs on the south side of the bridge in Camden. The ramp now has $1.2 million of the projected $3.5 million cost. [Plan Philly]
