Modern architect Richard Neutra would have been 123 years old last week. Maybe buy him (yourself) a birthday present? His stunning Pitcairn House is still on the market for $3,950,000, even though $900,000 was slashed from the asking price in January. The six-bedroom, five-bath modern masterpiece, completed in 1962, is set on 10.1 conserved acres of Pennsylvania woodlands, and boasts a cantilevered staircase, double pan thermal windows, a swim-in-place pool, and a sound-proof recording studio on the lower level.
