Philly's inaugural bike share program, Indego, is gearing up for its kick off on April 23, 2015. In the meantime, little elves have been busy installing docking stations and payment kiosks at 70 locations around the city.
Indego, sponsored by Independence Blue Cross, is offering memberships starting immediately via their website. Its monthly membership plan, Indego30 ($15 per month) is a 30-day plan that provides members unlimited one-hour rides each month, a potentially efficient method of assuring the local population starts to adopt the system for daily use.
