Another day, another price reduction for the Pitcairn House, which now slashed another half a million off asking. Currently listed for $3,400,000, the six-bedroom, five-bath forested retreat was completed in 1962, and boasts a cantilevered staircase, double pan thermal windows, a swim-in-place pool, and a sound-proof recording studio on the lower level. If you've been following along, you'll know that this house has seen quite its share of price cuts since first being listed in March 2014 for $6 million. Anyone for walking right up and giving it the tried-and-true Price is Right treatment? "One dollar, Bob!" Never fails.
