That escalated quickly. The William Bottomley-designed DuPont estate in Greenville, Delaware is now asking a cool $7,000,000, after it popped on the market last summer for $6 million. And this one doesn't even have a bowling alley, unlike other DuPonts we've seen on the market of late. Sitting on about 61 acres of land, the more than 12,000 square-foot mansion boasts nine bedrooms, nine and a half baths, 15-foot ceilings, fireplaces, and a large master suite. Also noteworthy is the "proposed subdivision plan" that is now available, which may shed some light on the staggering price increase.
