These Photos From the Schuylkill River Trail Will Make You Want to Take up Running Again

New, 2 comments

You haven't taken a jog in Philadelphia until you've hit up the Schuylkill River Trail. Recently named the best urban trail in the country in a USA Today's reader's choice poll, the riverside circuit has seen an incredible amount of traffic this year, according to the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission. Between June 2014 and June 2015, pedestrians and bikers used the trail at Kelly Drive about 1,817 times per day. And, according to the Internet, just about the same number of people each day snapped a photo of the trail: of a dedicated yogi striking a sunset yoga pose, of that now-iconic vista of the trail stretching out in front, with Center City rising up in the distance, or that greener stretch past the Art Museum. Haven't taken a stroll/jog/ride on the trail, yet? Take a look at what you're missing.
