Dana Spain's South Philly Villa Gets Massive Price Chop

It's been a hot second since we checked in on this 10,000 square foot South Philly abode, built by Dana Spain as a "dream home" for herself and then-husband photographer Michael Spain-Smith. Once asking $4.25M, the three-bedroom four-bath 'Mediterranean Villa' has undergone a serious price chop — now asking the far more palatable $2,600,000. The massive home's design is not for everyone. It wasn't meant to be. It's a melange of custom finishes —from its terra cotta roof, to the floating staircase in the entry foyer, and to the eight-person in-ground Jacuzzi outside. Think the leaner price will finally see the villa off the market?
