Good news for our neighbors to the east hoping to cross the Delaware for the World Meeting of Families events September 25th through the 28th. You won't have to walk across the Ben, if you don't want to. The RiverLink Ferry will be operating the entire weekend, and offering extended hours Saturday and Sunday.
Via the DRWC:
"The RiverLink Ferry and ramp are ADA accessible, making it a relatively easy and beautiful way to cross the Delaware River. Once on the Philly side, visitors can stop off at Spruce Street Harbor Park Presented by Univest/Valley Green Bank or Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest for some food and a place to take a rest before heading on to the meeting sites via the 2nd Street MFL stop."
Tickets cost $7 each way, and must be purchased online (not at the kiosk at the waterfront where riders normally purchase passage on the ferry).
Tickets for Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27 can be purchased HERE. Please note that each credit card transaction is limited to 10 tickets per trip (20 tickets total for round trips).
Tickets for Friday, September 25 and Monday, Septmeber 28 can be purchased HERE.
However, take note: there will be very limited parking available on the Camden Waterfront. Please see NJ Transit and SEPTA for information on how to best access the RiverLink Ferry terminals.
