These Photos Capture the Beauty of Pennsylvania's Churches

New, 3 comments

There are over 100 churches in Philadelphia alone, varying from Baptist to Methodist to Greek Orthodist and beyond. With churches dating back all the way to 1700, the historic architecture you can find in Pennsylvania can be extraordinarily stunning with rib-vault ceilings, intricately designed stained glass, and decorative columns. In order to celebrate some of Pennsylvania's most notable religious architecture, Curbed compiled a photo gallery with breathtaking photos of churches like the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul and the St. Thomas of Villanova Church. If there were any churches we left off that you think should be featured, feel free to let us know in the comments.
