Sixers Release First Rendering of Massive $82M Training Facility in Camden

New, 1 comment

The Sixers have just released the first rendering of the team's new training facility in Camden. Our first impression? It's quite gray. Of course, the rendering only shows the parking lot and the exterior of the 125,000-square-foot, $82 million complex, which will be the largest training facility in the NBA once completed this fall. In efforts for the team to "focus on building unity and encouraging transparency between players and staff," the exterior and interior of the basketball operation facility will feature glass walls and windows.

And anyway, it's what's inside that counts—and there's a lot:

·Two NBA regulation-size basketball courts
·2,800-square-foot locker room
·Hydrotherapy rooms
·Restaurant
·Private balcony
·Film and press room
·Media production studio
·7,000-square-foot roof deck
·10,000-square-foot mixed-use commercial space
·40-foot lap pool
