What $1,500 Rents in Philadelphia Right Now

Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, a dive into the options available for a certain price point in various neighborhoods. Is one person's loft another persons's townhouse? Let's find out! Today's price: $1,500/month.

Roxborough (3 beds, 1 bath)—Just steps from Fairmount Park, $1,500/month will rent you an entire house with a renovated bathroom and updated kitchen. The bedrooms feature sweet window alcoves. There's also laundry and a garage in the back.

Brewerytown (2 beds, 2 baths)—This 800-square-foot apartment is in a newly built, 5-story building with an elevator. It comes with laundry in the unit, and a community roof deck. The location also puts you just blocks away from the breweries Crime and Punishment and Rybrew.

Point Breeze (Studio, 1 bath)—What this 801-square-foot unit lacks in space is made up in the building's amenities: a fitness center, full-service spa, and a community koi pond and outdoor terrace. The Marine Club is also within walking distance of Rittenhouse Square and the Italian Market.

East Falls (3 beds, 1 bath)—It's all about space in East Falls. This 1,120-square-foot property has a private, covered front porch, and a shared porch in the back. Each bedroom is decently sized and lets in lots of light. Closet space looks minimal, but with three bedrooms you could convert one into your walk-in closet. Oh, the possibilities.

Bella Vista (1 bed, 1 bath)—The Bella Vista property has been updated, but still features two winding staircases often found in your typical Trinity home. There's a large kitchen with a breakfast nook, a living area, and a master bedroom on the third floor. The listing says the den could be turned into a second bedroom. Sorry, no pets.
