Cozy Kensington rowhome is just right, asks $209,900

3 bedrooms plus front and back porches

It’s always fun to peek into million-dollar properties, but it’s much more satisfying when you come across a home that ticks everything off a must-have list and is reasonably priced.

This Kensington home, for example, has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two outdoor spaces, and a $209,900 price tag. That’s refreshing, since we’ve seen new builds and renovated properties alike in the adjacent Fishtown neighborhood hit the market for $400,000 and up.

The two-story property clocks in at 1,176 square feet, and features an open living room and dining room with the home’s original wood staircase. Those who really like the open-living concept may pause at the fact that the kitchen is separated by a wall and spare room, but it’s lovely nonetheless.

Upstairs, the master bedroom features exposed brick, and there are two rooms that could be used as offices or smaller bedrooms.

It may not be in Fishtown as the broker babble states, but the home is a quick walk to the El and Frankford Avenue.
