Instagram recently highlighted the most Instagrammed locations in the world. No Philly locales made that list, but no matter. What we really wanted to know is what are the most popular places for folks to ‘gram in this city alone.

So Instagram sent us this list top 10 list of the Philly places that were the most geo-tagged locations this year. One might assume that touristy hot spots like Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell would make the list, but that wasn’t the case. In fact, the art museum and sports stadiums were the most Instagrammed places of 2016. Keep scrollin’ for the full list and some gorgeous ‘grams to boot.

Philadelphia Museum of Art

No surprise here: The Horace Trumbauer-designed art museum topped the list. It has it all: The Rocky steps, stunning views back toward Center City, and incredible interiors.

Lincoln Financial Field

What can we say? A whole lot of football fans translates to a whole lot of Instagram photos. Not to mention some big name acts performed here in 2016, including Beyonce.

Citizens Bank Park

This one’s a double hitter: It’s home to the Phillies and offers tremendous views of the Center City skyline.

Temple University

Chalk this up to two things: A lovely campus and a whole lot of college student selfies.

University of Pennsylvania

With buildings like these, who can blame this Ivy League for being so Instagram-friendly? Like with Temple, the thousands of students on campus help this university earn a top spot on the list.

The newest concert venue in Fishtown just opened last year, drawing big-name acts to its stage. No wonder it was earned a spot on this list.
