If you haven't snagged a restaurant reservation for Valentine's Day, don't fret. We've got another date idea for you: Hop onto the El and spend the day touring one of Philly's most famous murals, Love Letters.
The Mural Arts Program is hosting multiple slow-moving train tours of artist Stephen Powers' impressive series of 50 murals painted onto rooftops and walls in West Philly. Completed in 2010, the series is a love letter of a guy to a girl, an artist to his hometown, and of residents to their neighborhood.
Visit the Mural Arts program to buy tickets, which are $22 per person.
