The SS United States ship that has sat docked in Philadelphia for years will set sail again. At a press conference this morning in New York, the SS United States Conservancy announced that the historic ocean liner has been optioned by Crystal Cruises to return it to its former glory.
But before that, there's a lot of work to do, including a feasibility study. It will also undergo a $700 million restoration, with the goal of it becoming the fastest cruise liner in the world.
