Wyndmoor Home With Contemporary Finishes Asks $565K

Amazing what a little paint job can do

This Wyndmoor property is a prime example of how a little wallpaper and a paint job can transform an unassuming home.

From the outside, the 3-bedroom, 4-bath (2 halfs) property looks like your average Colonial-style home. But inside, the current owners have spruced up the space using contemporary finishes and light fixtures, namely in the kitchen, dining room, and bathrooms.

There are three main entertaining spaces, too, including a closed-in porch and backyard deck, and a basement, which the owner points out is 100 percent waterproof.

The owner tells Curbed Philly that its really the location that drew them to the home in the first place. It sits right on the edge of Philadelphia's city limits in Montgomery County, but it's still within walking distance to Chestnut Hill.

The asking price of this home is $565,000. It's been on and off the market since 2015.
