On Tuesday, the Delaware River Port Authority announced that the Ben Franklin Bridge would light up in rainbows Wednesday night in honor of the victims and families of the Orlando shooting, the worst in U.S. history.
The move comes after thousands gathered at City Hall on Monday night for a vigil, where all of the victims’ names were read aloud. Philly’s own Akyra Murray, an 18-year-old star basketball player, was one of the victims killed in the Orlando night club.
If you missed the view last night, don't worry: The bridge will be lit through Friday night.
