Gorgeous West Philly Twin Asks $635K Post-Renovations

New, 1 comment

It last sold for $370K in 2012

Walking along S. 46th Street in West Philly is always a treat, thanks to the grand homes that line it and the many block parties that neighbors often throw. Now, one of the homes is looking for a buyer after undergoing an impressive renovation.

A big part of the 2,856-square-foot home’s transformation included a new kitchen with access to a backyard. An upstairs bathroom was also updated. But based on photos from the previous listing, the whole home looks nothing like it did when the owners bought it in 2012 for just $370,400.

One thing to point out, though (because it’s hard not to during this Philly heatwave), is that there’s no central AC. Still, the home’s grandeur and original woodwork and detailing may make up for that. It was built in 1914 and is back on the market for nearly double its original asking price. The 5-bedroom, 2-bath property has a $635,000 price tag.
