Historic Old City Rowhome with Fireplaces in Every Bedroom Asks $500K

It was built in 1886

A historic rowhome on one of the quieter streets of Old City has hit the market for $500,000. And while it may look tiny from the outside, the 3-bedroom, 1.5-bath home is surprisingly spacious, clocking in at 1,300 square feet.

Built in 1886, the home is listed on the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places. It features many of its original details, including original pine floors, four fireplaces in every bedroom, and crown molding.

Still, over the years the property has undergone a number of updates. The second floor bathroom was remodeled, there are new kitchen appliances, and—this is key, this summer—there’s central air.

The home is located at 314 N. Lawrence Street—just a few blocks away from Independence National Historical Park.
