5 Philly Mansions for Sale with Jaw-Dropping Pools

One can dream

Philly might’ve survived last week’s heat wave, but with another one coming this weekend we’ve still got water on the brain. And while there are plenty of public pools, spraygrounds, and rivers where Philadelphians can cool off, how nice would it be to lounge around in a private pool all day instead?

From a jaw-dropping estate in Villanova with two pools to a Society Hill rowhome with a roof top splash pad, here are five mansions for sale just begging for an epic pool party.

$1.295M: This French Norman-style beauty in Mt. Airy was designed by Robert McGoodwin and features a big backyard with two patios and a pool. It’s pretty secluded—the property sits on a private lane—so you can lounge by the pool all day without any noisy neighbors.

$1.565M Over in Chestnut Hill, this beautiful lap pool is surrounded by a green oasis designed by horticulturalist Dorothy Falcon Platt in 1923. So when you’re finished swimming laps, you can dry off while wandering the property’s gardens.

$2.99M Here’s another secluded mansion in Chestnut Hill with a big price tag. Those grounds, though! The property sits on 2.87 acres and in addition to the large pool and jacuzzi there is a green house, a carriage house, and multiple terraces.

$4.495M Holy moly: If the address 810 Chateau Lane doesn’t already give it away, this home in Villanova is enormous. Not only does it have this epic indoor pool, but there’s another outdoor pool, a basketball court, a movie theater, and a golf course. What’s crazier is that it’s not even the most expensive home on this list.

$6.88M It’s not a mansion per se, but a home that clocks in at 7,742 square feet in Society Hill is pretty darn close. And the amount of properties in this neighborhood with roof top pools and hot tubs is few and far between. There’s also a large outdoor fireplace up there, too.
