To state the obvious, it’s really, really hot. The National Weather Service issued an excessive heat warning yesterday, lasting until Friday, July 8 at 6 p.m.
For the next three days, temperatures will hover around the mid-90s, with the heat index around 100.
So to help Philadelphians stay cool and safe, below are all the ways folks can beat the heat while still enjoying the city. (And because the summer is still young, expect this to be regularly updated throughout the next couple of months.)
