Fishtown loft with enormous photography studio asks $1.3M

New, 2 comments

Really, though, it’s quite large

Calling all photographers (or anyone who’s ever wanted a ginormous living room)! This Fishtown loft has been outfitted with a 5,000-square-foot photography studio. But it’ll cost you: The price tag on this bad boy is $1.3 million.

And when we say loft, we really mean garage. The studio takes up most of the property, but upstairs there’s a bedroom, bathroom, and a small loft area. Right below the loft is a pretty big kitchen that looks out to the photo studio.

But the studio isn’t the end-all, be-all. Out back, there’s a pretty spacious back patio that has a cute shed that you can retreat to when you need a work from the studio.

The location at 1220 N. Howard Street also puts you smack dab in the middle of Fishtown haunts like Frankford Hall and Johnny Brenda’s.

For what it’s worth, public records show that pre-studio days, the property was purchased in 2006 for $75,488.
