Robert McElroy midcentury modern hides away in Kennett Square, asks $650K

There’s a pool, anti-deer fencing, and an outdoor shower

We recently rounded up five midcentury modern homes that are for sale right now in the Philly ‘burbs. Here’s another one you can add to the list: A 4-bedroom, 3-bath midcentury modern in Kennett Square has just hit the market.

If the home looks familiar to the midcentury modern homes scattered throughout Penn Valley, that’s because it was also designed by architect Robert McElroy. Like most of his other homes, this midcentury modern features a cantilevered roof and is tucked away among green foliage.

There’s been a few updates to the 3,680-square-foot property of the years, including an addition by Dewson Construction Company. There’s also an in-ground pool and an outdoor shower. And the 4.9-acre property has anti-deer fencing, according to the listing.

The asking price of this home, which is just three miles from Longwood Gardens, is $649,900.
