Remodeled Passyunk Square home with Liberty Bell mosaic asks $429K

It’s basically brand new

After selling just last April for $230,000, a Passyunk Square home has hit the market again for more than double that price after undergoing a complete top-to-bottom renovation.

A Curbed reader tipped us off about the basically brand new home, which now features three bedrooms and 1.5 baths. The half bath was added during the renovation, as was that hand-laid mosaic of the Liberty Bell in the foyer.

It’s hard to pick which part of the house underwent the biggest makeover, but let’s start with the kitchen. The only thing that remains is the similar three-sided counter setup and window.

The living room, once pretty dark and dank, is now light and airy—it helps that the wall separating it from the dining room has been taken out.

Upstairs, all of the bedrooms have plenty of closet space, and the full bathroom is nice and modern with a custom glass shower-tub and a double-sink vanity. One detail worth pointing out is that the stacked laundry units sit in the second-floor hallway, though perhaps that’s better than downstairs in a dark basement. (For the record, this home’s newly finished basement is anything but that.)

The asking price of this 1,272-square-foot home is $429,900.
