After selling for $45,000 in 2015, this single-family, stand-alone rowhome in Point Breeze is back on the market for $345,000 with a brand new look—plus private parking.

The corner property at 1655 S. Taylor Street was in a sorry state when it sold two years ago as a three-bedroom, one-bath house. Red brick was paired with green awnings, and the listing stated that the owner “could not guarantee that the property will be free of debris or in broom-swept condition.”

Today, it looks completely different both inside and out. The awnings have been removed and the brick is now a light grey. Inside, the original hardwood floors have been restored, leading to a renovated kitchen with wood finishes.

In addition, a spare room on the first floor is being advertised as the home’s fourth bedroom, though it could be used as a cozy dining room.

Upstairs is where the three main bedrooms are located. If closet space is an issue, note that there’s a finished basement downstairs with a wall of built-ins.

Got a car? There home has a gated driveway in the back.

If it’s something you think you need to see in person, there are two open houses this weekend on Saturday, October 7 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. and Sunday, October 8 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
