Rittenhouse Square (Studio, 1 bath)—If you want to live in the heart of the city, you can always count on finding a studio at Embassy Suites for a smaller price point. At 350 square feet, this is by far the tiniest rental on this week’s list. But there’s a fitness center in the building and pets are welcome for an additional $25 a month, tacked onto the $1,285 monthly rent.

Washington Square West (Studio, 1 bath)—A few blocks east of the Rittenhouse studio is this roomier studio in a walkup in Washington Square West. At 800 square feet, it’s much more spacious, with tall windows and classy chandelier, although counter space may be an issue. Cats are welcome, too. Rent is $1,295 a month.
