A Bella Vista home that dates back to 1915 has hit the market after getting a much-needed makeover while still retaining some of its original character.

The home at 1032 Carpenter Street is a four-bedroom, one-bath home clocking in at exactly 1,600 square feet. Prior to its renovation, it had some dated finishes, but those are now long gone.

The old kitchen cabinetry has been replaced by shaker cabinets and the floral wallpaper has been swapped for subway tiles. In the living room, the old tiled fireplace is now clad in marble. Yet some original details remain, including the home’s refinished parquet floors. (Note: the antique chandelier in the dining room is not included in the sale.)

Upstairs, the four bedrooms are all pretty spacious, and there’s a small backyard out back big enough for some patio furniture.

After last selling for $290,000 in 2012, this updated home is now on the market for $519,900.
