Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, a dive into the options available for a certain price point in various Philly neighborhoods. Is one person’s townhouse another’s studio? Let’s find out! Today’s price point: $1,900 a month.
Fishtown (2 beds, 1 bath)—Just on the edge of Fishtown is this pet-friendly, 1,145-square-foot apartment, complete with exposed brick, beams, and ducts. There are tall ceilings in every room, as well as in-unit laundry. The $1,950 monthly rent also includes a free parking spot.
Logan Square (1 bed, 1 bath)—An apartment in the former School District of Philadelphia headquarters is up for grabs, asking $1,895 a month. The sunny, pet-friendly unit comes with in-unit laundry, and there’s a fitness center in the building.
Manayunk (2 beds, 2 baths)—A rental in the renovated Shurs Lane development wants $1,895 a month, which rents this light-filled two-bedroom unit. There are hardwood floors throughout, in-unit laundry, and an on-site gym and courtyard. It’s also a quick walk or bike ride to the Manayunk Canal towpath.
Rittenhouse (2 beds, 1 bath)—Here’s an 870-square-foot rowhome for rent that’s located on a small side street in Rittenhouse. Some pluses: There’s a fireplace in the living room, and there are two balconies off the second and third floors. Some minuses: Its sans dishwasher, and there’s no word on pets.
Graduate Hospital (3 beds, 1 bath)—The biggest rental on this week’s list clocks in at 1,290 square feet, asking $1,895 a month. The rowhome was recently renovated and features bamboo floors, big bedrooms, and a backyard. The catch? It’s only available for a six-month lease.
