Another grand home in Society Hill has come to the market, wowing with its Federal architecture and long history—it was built in 1797 and looks just as stately as ever.

The home at 711 Spruce Street is a big one: It’s a six-bedroom, four and a half bath house with 4,658 square feet of space. Hiding in the back along Manning Street is a two-car garage, as well as a charming garden patio.

Behind the handsome, three-windowed brick facade is a more modern design. Many of the rooms have been either restored or upgraded over the years. The expansive living room, for example, was restored and features two original fireplaces. Meanwhile, local interior designer Joanne Hudson was tapped to design the rustic, whitewashed kitchen.

The many bedrooms take up the rest of the upper levels, including two dormer bedrooms on the fourth floor. There’s also a guest suite that’s separated from the rest of the house.

The asking price of the home is $2,300,000.
