Big Reveal: $499K for a sunny Logan Square corner condo

Welcome back to Pricespotter! Yesterday, we asked readers to try to guess the asking price of a newly listed Logan Square condo. How much does a 2-bedroom, 1-bath corner unit with a private balcony and views for days go for?

Readers took to the polls, and the majority guess (30 percent) was $479,900.

But the actual price tag on this 1,121 square-foot abode is slightly higher, at $499,900. At least 26 percent of readers made the right guess!

Of the condo’s views, one commenter quipped, “From the looks of the view, the owner can moonlight as a train dispatcher.”

It’s probably worth noting that in the coming years, that view of University City and the train tracks could go away. PMC Property Group has proposed to build two residential towers on the parking lot that this condominium faces.
