Big Reveal: $379K for a sunny loft near the Italian Market

Welcome back to Pricespotter! This week, we asked Curbed readers to try to guess the asking price of a super-spacious, 1-bedroom condo loft near the Italian Market. One key detail that could have swung the asking price was that it was previously set up as a 2-bedroom unit.

As the poll came to a close, the results were surprisingly close: The majority of folks—30.49 percent—guessed that the price tag was $425,000. Another 30.04 percent went slightly lower at $415,000.

The actual asking price: $379,000, which got the lowest amount of votes.

That’s the current listing price of the 1,370-square-foot unit, after undergoing a slight price chop. We should also note the condo’s location, in response to a comment about the neighborhood. Although the unit is located in the Lofts at Bella Vista, technically the building is located right on the edge of that neighborhood, in Hawthorne.
