In today’s Queen Village housing market, it’s not uncommon to see homes list with asking prices in the seven-digit realm. So for those suffering a bit of sticker shock, here’s a refreshing new listing that comes with outdoor space, some interior upgrades, and a price tag just under $400,000.

Don’t be fooled by those winding stairs: The 2-bedroom, 2-bath brick rowhome is much larger than a Trinity, clocking in at a reasonable 1,140 square feet. The current owners seemed to make the most of all of the available space: The extra-long hallway on the second level has been turned into an office nook, complete with a wall of built-ins, for example.

The first floor is narrow, but warm and sunny with its hardwood floors and brick fireplace. There’s also enough space for a dining area right before the kitchen, which has been updated and features a subway-tile backsplash and a farmhouse sink. That leads to the cute brick patio out back.

The asking price of the home is $399,900.
