There’s a lot going on here

In a neighborhood where new builds abound and homes hover around the $500,000 mark, this three-story, brick rowhome in Northern Liberties is a diamond in the rough, yours for $314,900.

The 3-bedroom, 1-bath home has a lot going for it: A cute backyard patio, two fireplaces, and original wide-plank hardwood floors. But it also has plenty of personality, or as the listing puts it, “enormous amounts of character and charm.”

Indeed, there are mustard-yellow walls that greet you in the foyer, followed by equally bright wallpaper in the living room and dining room. Even the winding staircase to the second and third floors feature stencil paintings of cats and ivy.

Even if this isn’t your style, a lot of the work to make the house your own is cosmetic. There’s still a lot to work with and the property itself looks like it has some pretty good bones. And at 935 N. Lawrence Street, it’s just a short walk to Liberty Lands.
