Plus two balconies with absurd views

We’ve fawned over the two-story penthouses in the pre-war Rittenhouse Plaza co-op for years, but unit 19D, which just hit the market for $3.15 million, may be the best one we’ve seen yet.

Clocking in at 3,420 square feet, the 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath co-op is nothing short of impressive. There are those iconic 18-foot-tall ceilings that boast arched windows in the main living area. Then, off the east and west sides of the home, there are sets of double doors that open up to balconies.

The kitchen and dining room are on the first floor, too, where the unit’s original white-washed oak floors continue. There’s enough counter space in the professionally-designed kitchen that the dining room almost seems like a luxury. In fact, you can separate the two rooms with sliding doors that tuck away or pull out when needed.

On the second floor, the master suite alone has three(!) walk-in closets, and there’s a separate office space with views of that two-story arched window.

In addition to the co-op’s $3,150,000 price tag, the monthly dues are $4,569. That co-op fee includes monthly real estate taxes of about $620.
