After undergoing years of meticulous restorations, a stunning Queen Anne Victorian home in Cedar Park has hit the market for $949,900. That makes it the most expensive home for sale in the neighborhood right now.

Once you’ve gotten over that sticker shock, consider the massiveness of this home. It’s a 6-bedroom, 4.5-bath property with 5,875 square feet of space. That amounts to $162 per square feet.

After the corner home on Springfield Avenue sold in 2010 for $400,000 in an estate sale, the new owners went about restoring the property to its 1892 condition. The restoration was so successful, in fact, that it won an “Outstanding Preservation Award” from the University City Historical Society.

The immense wrap-around porch with its Victorian spindles and the home’s stunning interiors are definitely noteworthy (hello, big windows and multiple fireplaces!). But listing agent Tom Englett points out the restored landscape surrounding the home is one of the highlights of the property.

“There's a peach tree that generates 50 pounds of fruit each season,” he said.

The Queen Anne Victorian may not last very long, if nearby home sales are any indication. This $550,000 Victorian on the same street was under contract after just three days on the market.
