Blue-themed Point Breeze starter home asks $279K

Not too big, not too small, just right

A recently renovated home in Point Breeze that still has room for the future owner’s finishing touches is on the market for less than $300,000.

The two-bedroom, two-bath home clocks in at 1,190 square feet, and was last purchased in 10 years ago for $90,000. A new bathroom on the first floor is just one of the major upgrades that the home has undergone since then.

The home has a robin egg’s blue theme going on, starting with the exterior and continuing inside, where there’s a blue-painted staircase and finished basement.

Among the blue, the home also features a mix-match of materials, including exposed brick and beams, hardwood floors, subway tiles, and wood-paneled ceilings. The bathroom vanities, featuring farmhouse-style sinks, have also been handcrafted.

The home, which has two outdoor spaces, is listed for $279,900. There’s an open house this Sunday, June 18 from 11:30 to 1 p.m.
