Calling all artists: A beautiful loft unit in the Greene Street Artist’s Cooperative in Germantown is up for grabs for just under $150,000.

That sum buys this one-bedroom, one-bath loft in the front of the building, where huge windows allow light to flood the 1,200-square-foot space, a pretty perfect setup for any artist.

The loft has a lot of interesting features, including a large sliding door that separates the kitchen from the rest of the main living-work space. There’s also a wall of built-ins and a sliding library ladder. The big splash sink is also a bonus for artists.

Living here does come with some important requirements, of course. You have to fill out an online application, and provide proof that you are a working artist. Folks who live here often have open houses and gallery showings throughout the year, and there’s a big community garden out back, too.

The asking price of the coop is $149,000, plus $502 monthly HOA fees.
