Any time a condo in the historic White Building hits the market, it’s hard not to fawn over the soaring ceilings, arched windows, and exposed brick. It’s no different with this two-bedroom, two-bath unit that just listed for $944,900.
The 1,725-square-foot condo is one of 24 units in the building that was developed by New York-based developer Goldman Properties. Like its neighbors, the unit is covered in exposed brick, and light pours in from the home’s six 12-foot-tall windows (they offer views of the iconic PSFS building).
It’s one of the more interesting layouts we’ve seen though in this building. From the entrance, a hallway leads to the large kitchen with Carrera countertops, which is open to the equally large living space. One small bedroom is located on this floor. Above that, there’s an open office.
The main bedroom, meanwhile, is upstairs, along with a full bathroom. The listing notes that an additional 200-square-foot attic space comes with the loft.
It’s a nearly $1 million price tag comes with $750 monthly HOA fees. That earns access to a parking spot and a fitness center. The location, we’d argue, is also a big amenity: The building at 12th and Chestnut puts you within a block of the up-and-coming East Market redevelopment and right in the heart of all of the changes happening on and around Chestnut Street.
There’s an open house tonight, on Wednesday, July 12 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Can’t make it. Another twilight open house will be held on July 20 at the same time.
