A brick rowhome hidden away on the 1700 block on Panama Street in Rittenhouse Square is looking for a new owner willing to put in some elbow grease into the property.

The three-bedroom, one-bath home at 1706 Panama Street has plenty of potential. There are are hardwood floors throughout, including wide-plank floors upstairs. The third bedroom on the third floor comes stocked with built-ins, and there’s a back patio with some built-in planters, as well.

There are also some interesting details that make the home stand out from the average rowhome: The step-down living space on the first floor, for one. One of the bedrooms on the second floor is also slightly lower than the hallway.

But then there’s the kitchen. It’s a tiny galley kitchen that’s tucked off to the corner on the first floor.

The home is being being sold in as-is condition for $429,900. See the potential? There are two open houses this weekend, on Saturday July 15 and Sunday, July 16, both from 12 to 2 p.m.
