Recently listed homes in Kensington have been hitting it out of the park when it comes to both new construction and total gut renovations. Take this country-style rowhome at 2043 E. Susquehanna Avenue, which just came to the market after undergoing a top-to-bottom rehab.

The 2,225-square-foot home last sold in 2015 for (if you can believe it) $175,000 as a four-bedroom, one-bath home. Today, it’s been transformed into a three-bedroom, two-bath house, complete with farmhouse-style finishes.

There are exposed beams in most of the rooms, from the living room to the master bedrooms. This, coupled with exposed brick throughout and hardwood floors adds to the country vibes.

The kitchen also has some nice details, including Herringbone subway tile backsplash and a farmhouse sink. And at least two of the bedrooms have sliding barn doors that hide away their closets (a walk-in closet is in the master bedroom).

And even though much of the home has been renovated, there’s still potential with the large backyard if you’re looking for a project.

The asking price is $479,900.
