Villanova midcentury modern with a pool asks $649K

It was built in 1969

A home in Villanova that has many of the classic makings of a midcentury modern abode is on the market, with an asking price of $649,900.

That price tag, a reduction from its original $674,900, buys a four-bedroom, three and a half bath home that features everything from a sunken sitting area to an in-ground heated pool.

The 3,000-square-foot home was built in 1969 and sits on .75 acres. The property looks like a one-story ranch from the front, but behind the front door reveals a two-story home with a set of carpeted stairs leading down to the living area and up to the bedrooms.

First, downstairs. Here’s where you’ll find a big stone fireplace that’s surrounds a sunken sitting area (which are making a comeback, by the way). This floor is also highlighted by wood-paneled walls and a built-in bar.

From here, there’s access via a new sliding glass door to the home’s backyard, where there’s an astro-turf patio and the heated in-ground pool. There are also nice views of the pool from the upper deck, which spans the entire width of the home.

Overall, it seems like the home is designed for the ultimate party. Have a look, and consider the its potential.
