Kensington (2 beds, 1.5 baths)—In Kensington near the Berks stop on the El is this two-bedroom unit, asking $,1750 a month. Some of the perks include the fact that it’s brand new, and there’s a small balcony off the kitchen. Both of the bedrooms are located on the second lower level, accessed via a spiral staircase. Need more breathing room? There’s a community roof deck.

Brewerytown (3 beds, 2 baths)—Across the city in Brewerytown is this recently renovated rowhome, also asking $1,750 a month. But you’ll have to wait for it—the home isn’t available until November. Its a cozy 784 square feet, so don’t expect massive bedrooms, but hey, it is an entire house up for rent. There’s also in-unit laundry. Pets are welcome, but they come with a $500 deposit for dogs and $250 for cats.

Manayunk (2 beds, 1 bath)—This new two-bedroom puts you right on Manayunk’s Main Street, which means there’s easy access to the neighborhood’s restaurant and bar scene. All of the appliances and finishes are brand new, and there’s in-unit laundry and central AC. Plus, cats are welcome roommates.

Old City (1 bed, 1 bath)—Here’s a compact apartment that’s basically brand new after undergoing a top-to-bottom renovation. The unit has all the basics, including in-unit laundry, topped with some extra bonuses like a Nest thermostat and a small balcony. Pets welcome, but with a deposit.
