Despite some setbacks, construction on the 60-story Comcast Technology Center is on track to finish in 2018. For more than three years, the city has watched the Foster+Partners-designed tower, poised to be the tallest tower in Philly, rise from ground up.
While we’ve shared a handful of sneak peeks from the top and inside, the latest drone footage—two one-minute videos—shows the Comcast Technology Center in its latest iteration, just short of topping off.
The videos are part of a collaboration between local photographer Conrad Benner of Streets Dept and WeFilmPhilly. All year long, the duo is highlighting Philly’s architecture and the city from above via these short drone videos coupled with sound captured from street level.
As you watch the videos, consider the fact that these are the views one will see from the Four Seasons Hotel, which will open on the top 12 floors of the Comcast Technology Center. That’ll make it the most highly situated hotel above street-level in the U.S.
