That’s one big lot

Dreaming of warmer days? We have a feeling that the backyard of this Northern Liberties home would make the perfect setting.

The home at 974-96 N. 5th Street just hit the market for $367,400. It looks like your traditional brick Philly rowhome, but it’s all party in the back with a yard that stretches 35-feet-deep and balconies off every level.

In fact, the home is actually a condo, so there are monthly fees of $232. That, plus the asking price, buys a two-bedroom, two-bath house that clocks in at 1,300 square feet.

Each of the bedrooms have the floor to themselves and their own private balconies. The second-floor bedroom has big pocket doors and the third-floor bedroom boasts a lot of character and space, with exposed beams and a cozy nooks.

Then, of course, is that backyard. It’s already landscaped (big enough for not one, but two trees!), and measures 15-by-35 feet. It looks big enough to invite the whole neighborhood and then some over for a summer barbecue.

Want to see the place in person? There’s an open house on Sunday, January 14 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
