Rittenhouse (Studio, 1 bath)—The tiniest rental at this price point is this 500-square-foot studio in the Chatham building in the heart of Rittenhouse. Thought short on space, the unit is big on character, with hardwood floors and wainscoting. Cats are welcome, too and rent is $1,385 a month.

Port Richmond (3 beds, 1 bath)—If you’re looking for a lot of bedrooms, look north to Port Richmond at this three-bedroom home asking $1,450 a month. The 1,200-square-foot rental was recently renovated, so expect new appliances and finishes throughout. Cats are welcome roommates.
