Photos: Philly’s skyline goes green for the Eagles

The city is showing off its Eagles pride

It was hard to not feel the excitement all around Philly in the days before the Sunday game when the Eagles overtook the Minnesota Vikings to become NFC East champions and seal their trip to the Superbowl. Eagles jerseys were worn, flags were flown, poles were slathered in Crisco, and yes, even Philly’s skyline showed their Eagles pride, lighting up green for the whole weekend.

From the iconic homes on Boathouse Row to the glassy towers of University City to the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, Philly has been all aglow in green for the past week, and will be through Super Bowl Sunday.
