In North Philly, charming stone home with wraparound porch wants $340K

The house has two kitchens

Tucked away in the East Oak Lane neighborhood on the outskirts of North Philly, this 2,000-square-foot home brings a sense of New England, country charm to the edge of the city.

The four-bed, 2.5-bath place has a stone facade with a wraparound porch and several Victorian details—note the columns and dormer windows. Inside, the space has an elegantly simple feel, with hardwood floors and a small, wood kitchen.

But there are some interesting details to the home, including two staircases, one of which is hidden behind a door in the kitchen.

The second, third, and fourth floors all hold the bedrooms, as well as a kitchenette on the fourth floor.

In addition to the interior details, the home sits on 9,000 square feet of land. It was built in 1925 and was last put on the market—although not purchased—in 2015. If you’re interested in checking out the space, there’s an open house on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m.
