Philly’s biannual Love Your Park day is just around the corner, and this season, it’s going to be the largest event yet, with 107 parks participating.
On Saturday, volunteers from around Philly will hit up their local parks, picking up trash, raking leaves, and planting trees as part of the annual event, headed up by the Fairmount Park Conservancy. This year Cobb Creek Park is the signature site.
Love Your Park day has been going on for eight years, with one cleanup event in the spring and another in the fall each year. If you’re eager to get involved, you can register on the event’s website.
