Welcome to Curbed Comparisons, where we explore what you can rent or buy for a certain dollar amount in various Philly neighborhoods. This week, we’re checking out homes at or around $2,100 per month, and it’s a pretty popular price point. Ever wanted to live in a Society Hill town home? What about Liberties Walk in Northern Liberties? This price point can get you there.

West Philly (3 bed, 2 bath) — Kicking off the list this week is one of the largest homes you can get at this price point. With three bedrooms, two baths, and 1,000 square feet of space, the apartment at 45th and Pine streets has a ton to offer. But one of the key draws has to be that exterior, which just screams “castle” in the middle of West Philly.

Center City (3 bed, 1 bath)—It’s pretty rare to find a three-bed place at this price point in the middle of Philly, but a whole house? It’s almost unheard of. Still, that’s what you get at 262 Adler Street. There’s a small kitchen and living room (with a wood burning fireplace). Bedrooms are upstairs, including a top floor room with slanted ceilings and exposed beams. Plus, sitting between Spruce and Locust, it’s walking distance to Center City’s best restaurants and shops.

Passyunk Avenue (3 bed, 1.5 bath)—With full renovations, hardwood floors, tons of light, and a redone back patio, this 1311 Sigel Street place has a lot to offer in terms of interior look. The location is also a big draw. It’s just steps from Passyunk, which has experienced a boom in popularity—and restaurants and shops—in the past few years.

Society Hill (2 bed, 2 bath)— Sunny, bright, and in a killer location, this Society Hill spot at Lombard and 3rd offers a whole townhome at $2,100. It’s got a living room and kitchen on the first floors, with bedrooms and a loft area upstairs. On top of all that, there’s access to a roofdeck, and there are two wood burning fireplaces.

Northern Liberties (2 bed, 1 bath)—With floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood floors, and laundry in-unit, this 1022 North 2nd Street place has a ton to offer. The home is located on Liberties Walk, an increasingly popular pedestrian-only side street that’s home to bars, restaurants, and shops.
